To me, this is Dr. King's most inspiring, most stirring speech, not the least of which because it was his last. Given that he was to be cowardly assassinated the next day, here he sounds omniscient and prophetic. Hearing his exiting words never ceases to touch me.
In 38 years of life, the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. accomplished more than most of us do in twice that time. Who knows how much more he would have done had he been allowed to stay alive?
